Outside it’s extremely hot – a can of cold drink could be very enticing. Quickly, you pull out your wallet, buy a can of drink, open it and enjoy the ice-cold contents. But how does one dispose of the empty can?

That’s a challenge for all of us, including:

• kiosk owners
• owners of corner shops
• boss in a bar or a club
• And, of course, as organisers of festivals of all kinds.

Anyone who sells cans should also ensure that they don’t simply end up in the nearest litter bin. They should make sure that the cans are collected and sent off for environmentally friendly aluminium recycling.
